Team apparel including uniforms, jerseys etc, along with any performance sportswear, swimsuits, yoga apparel and the world of promotional products, all require a process called Dye Sublimation to print. Essentially it is the process of printing full color on polyester fabrics through heat transfer. This process leads to a print that doesn't fade or wash out and eliminates the need for set up charges or limits in color and number of decoration locations. You can print whatever you want, wherever you want on the garment! At Dotted Line, we print fabric and then cut and sew it so the result is always a high quality print. You will never see crease marks under the arms, print bleeds on to the inside of the neck or any other blemish that is the result of piece printing garments.

You should use sublimation when:

Cut and sew is the next step after dye sublimation printing (if it's a garment) or is simply the process of taking fabric, cutting patterns, and assembling them. We are able to help you bring most garment and accessory ideas to life, even if you are not using dye sublimation for your product. We can make patterns (digital too!), create samples, help you choose fabric or source it for you, and take all the guess work out of the process. We only work with the best sewing teams and ensure all laborers are paid and treated ethically.
